The inn was established in the early 1900s, when Prince Boncompagni Ludovisi had this large farmhouse rebuilt for a family of sharecroppers, locating it on the top of a tufa spur.
Blah blah blah…
I am Ale, I run the inn and, I assure you, this story is better heard live 🙂 I will tell you personally when you arrive. I care.
I could tell you about the two warm and cozy lounges with majestic fireplaces but I won’t because you’d better come see them and maybe take pictures of them to put on Instagram.
Needless to tell you also about the well-maintained (really?) and chosen décor in the name of simplicity and elegance, once here you can ascertain that for yourself.
What I would like to describe is the garden that surrounds the inn you cannot miss: four hectares where a large olive grove, some varieties of herbs, a beautiful collection of fruit trees (apple, pear, cherry ) and rare roses for lovers of the genre find their home.
The pool is a gem set in the greenery, tiny and cool enough…no bomb dives that it is only a meter deep and I get stuck.
So if you have come this far, to visit our site, don’t be shy, call us, write to us, and we will reserve a room and a lit fireplace for you (if you come in the winter) or, if it is already warm, a “first row” lounger like the VIPs at the pool.
