Locanda Settimo Cielo on Vanity Fair
Thanks to @laurafiengo00 who told our story with great care and participation. “The cover of Vanity shows the Italian tricolor with a cut that represents a wound but also a glimmer. It was created exclusively by artist Francesco Vezzoli as a tribute to Lucio Fontana (the work will be auctioned and the proceeds will be donated to charity). This is the third act in Vanity Fair’s trilogy devoted to the Covid-19 emergency. Nobel laureates, philosophers, CEOs, presidents of Italy’s most important supply chains along with poets, artists and designers: the issue brings them all together to question the world ahead after the virus and how to deal with the economic emergency that follows the health emergency. “We are entering a time of seriousness,” writes editor @marchettisimone in his editorial, “A new time, where yesterday’s values and questions (ecology, respect for human labor, inclusion, the importance of the state) will no longer be just goals to chase but results to put on the table. Hic et nunc. Here and now. History is us. Or rather: #LItaliasiamonoi. This emergency made us realize that even more.” Thanks to @crilucchini and @marchettisimone ❤️❤️❤️❤️
